soot smudged
on pale skin
Delicate form
shrouded
by rags and revenge
Shadow gliding
amid the dregs
gripped by ennui
Obsessed
grieving
innocence lost
Wandering
unseen
unseeing
Striving to repress
guilt, pain
newborn conscience
