Angel

Another poem that I wrote using a word set posted to AFD. This time the words angel, whisper, golden, express, magic, lost, remember, and follow were supplied by Talaranth.

"Angel"

My angel speaks to me

A soft whisper of sweet breath
against my ear
as she imparts
her words of timeless wisdom.

Her wide golden eyes
strive to impress upon me
the need she has
to express her opinion
of everything I do.

She tells me of a world
full of magic
that is lost within
this mundane world
around me.

And she tells me to remember
that magic is never far
and all I have to do
to reach it
is follow my heart.
